- Collectors case for Criterion edition DVD's The Killer and Hard Boiled
- DreamWatch, issue #71, has M:I-2 interviews, Tom Cruise and John Woo

Alternate versions of many John Woo movies. Some of these are released somewhere but not all of them.

Wednesday, 7/17/00 - John Dempsey and Josef Adalian at Variety reported that "Paramount's MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 2, the biggest grossing movie of the year so far, has finally found a broadcast-network home at CBS after a couple of weeks of high-spirited bidding by ABC and Fox. CBS will pay around $23 million for five runs of the picture over four years, starting in late 2002. Sources said that, despite the sibling connection between Paramount and CBS (both are divisions of Viacom), Paramount kept the bidding fair and open, reinforcing the conviction held by ABC (which got the MISSION film) and Fox that each had a shot at getting it. Turner Broadcasting's TBS and TNT had previously locked up the cable part of the first broadcast window to M:I-2. The picture has grossed $208 million in U.S. theaters and is still tracking, so it may end up costing CBS and Turner a combined fee north of $30 million."

Tuesday, 7/11/00 - Don Groves at
Variety reported that "A superwide, U.S.-style release pattern delivered mega-grosses for MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 2 last weekend as director John Woo's action thriller raked in $49.7 million from 23 countries. MISSION 2's foreign total vaulted to $100.8 million -- the ninth hit to cross the ton this year, spurred by incandescent debuts in Japan and 12 European markets. In Japan, the Tom Cruise starrer minted $13.1 million in two days, the second-biggest premiere in history... Germany's $7.7 million bounty was an all-time record for a July release and the best for a Woo or Cruise vehicle. The U.K.'s $6.8 million bettered the first MISSION by 11%, Spain's $2.9 million ranked as the third-biggest ever... and Italy's $2.4 million was the second-highest of the year. In Austria, the $1.3 million result smashed the opening weekend record previously held by MEN IN BLACK, while Norway's $617,000 was the sixth-biggest debut in history. Similarly socko launches in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland, Russia and Hungary ponied up a combined $3 million."
