When respected gang boss Tsou is gunned down in an ambush, there are three prospective heirs to his crown: Wai (David Chiang), who has left the triad life to run a fish business; Sou (Danny Lee - cop in The Killer), a quiet and reserved character; and the ambitious Tai, according to his will, Tsou wished for Wai to take his place, but when Wai refuses the duty is passed to the reluctant Sou. Tai's right hand man, the impetuous and babyfaced Jacky (Chow Sing Chi), feels his bos has been cheated, and when Wai uncovers evidence that Sou was the traitor responsible for Tsou's death, Jacky resolves to get his revenge. .
