Windtalkers R1 DVD released	Chow Yun-fat is starring in Bulletproof Monk produced by John Woo and Terence Sheng. Filming just started in Toronto.
Special edition R4 DVD coming in Australia	Joe Batteer & John Rice telling how it was to work with John Woo and Nic Cage.
Windtalkers SE R2 DVD coming in UK?	In June 2002 two new John Woo will be released: Making of Windtalkers and, a forth Between Bullets written by Michael Bliss.

Windtalkers R4 2 DVD SE in Australia (Fox) [14.10.2002]

Windtalkers R4 DVD will be released in Australia December 4. Unlike barebone R1 release in R4 land they are going to release 2 DVD Special edition. Fox has confirmed it includes three featurette films and picture gallery. More extra material could be confirmed later so R4 release could include audio commentary by Nicholas Cage and Christian Slater which has been made and submitted to BBFC in UK.

Windtalkers R2 DVD in UK (Fox) [14.10.2002]

So far I haven't heard any info about Windtalkers DVD release in Europe. However some DVD extra material was submitted to BBFC in UK. This is a good sign that Special edition will be released in UK some day. Additional material submitted to BBFC is 50 minutes in total length. In Europe distributor is 20th Century Fox Film Co. Ltd.
